And just like that – our first work week is over! And my, what a good week it has been.  CIT is starting one of their  equipping courses next week, so we ladies were kept busy freshening up their dorm rooms.
There were kitchens

and bathrooms

and lots and lots of rooms!


Since this building had previously been an orphanage dormitory, the center has worked very hard to get away from the ‘institutional’ feel. And I think they’ve done a really good job!



Although I must confess that housekeeping in not my favorite job, it was (a) fun to do with friends and (b) worthwhile to think that we were a small part of equipping folks to be more effective missionaries!
The guys were working on a lots of different jobs! Primarily they were working on completing one of the apartment in their apartment complex.

There was wiring to fix,

doors to be hung,

ditches to be reconstructed

and of course, the plumbing to be plumbed!

It was a full week for all of us – and I think we are all looking forward to the weekend!
Which thankfully for us – starts tomorrow!
